How to Remove Pimple Scars From Pictures

Acne is a skin disease that plagues many people during their young adult years. It isn't a life-threatening condition, but it can cause low self-esteem and make a person extremely self-conscious. This can be particularly bad if you have photographs with acne breakouts or acne scars on the skin of the subject of the picture. In these instances you can manipulate digital pictures in computer software programs, such as Photoshop, in order to remove the scars and pimples.

Open the photo software and click on the "File" tab at the top of the screen.

Click on "Import" and select the pictures from the list of files you would like to retouch.

Click on the "Edit and Enhance Photos" option on screen. Select the photo you just imported from the list of options in the list.

Click on the "Layers" tab at the top of the screen and click on the "New Layer Icon" at the bottom-right of the screen to create a new background layer.

Click on the "Spot healing brush" tool in the list of tools in Photoshop, or its equivalent in another program.

Move the tool over the problem area in the photograph with your mouse while holding down the mouse button. Continue until the blemishes and scars are removed

Click "File" and then "Save As" when finished to save your corrected photo in the library.
